13.07.2021MFA statement on parliamentary election in the Republic of Moldova on 11 July 2021MFA of Poland assesses in a positive way the conduct and results of the voting in the snap parliamentary election in the Republic of Moldova. According to the opinion of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission they were organized in a well-administered, orderly, competitive way with respect of fundamental freedoms. We note with satisfaction the results of the election which clearly demonstrate that the main motivation of voters was to finally get rid of the legacy of post-Soviet system, to deoligarchize the country and implement reforms in a real – and not only theoretical – way.

First introduced in September 2020, the Poland. Business Harbour (PBH) programme is a comprehensive package designed to help IT specialists, start-ups, small and medium enterprises as well as large companies to relocate to Poland in a hassle-free manner. Following the programme’s great success, we are extending it to new countries starting today. It is the implementation of one of the Polish Deal’s proposals.

EU foreign ministers also discussed the situation in Belarus and met with Israel’s Foreign Minister Jair Lapid.

10.07.2021Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health on new safe travel rulesOn Saturday, Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk and Deputy Health Minister Maciej Miłkowski held a press briefing at the MFA on the amendment to the so-called epidemic regulation – Regulation of the Council of Ministers of March 19, 2021 on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and bans in relation to state of the epidemic (Journal of Laws, items 512 and 546 as amended). Among other topics, quarantine exemption rules for persons arriving to Poland were presented at the briefing.

07.07.2021Declaration of the Lublin Triangle Foreign Ministers of joint European heritage and common valuesOn Thursday, during their Vilnius meeting, the heads of Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Polish diplomacies signed a declaration of joint European heritage and common values. The document was adopted on the occasion of the 230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 May and Mutual Pledge of the Two Nations of 1791.

He took up his post on 6 July 2021.
