25.06.2021On Monday, 28 June 2021, foreign ministers of the V4 and Western Balkans will meet under the Polish presidency of the Visegrad Group. Hosted by Minister Zbigniew Rau, the event will also be attended by Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, as well as the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues. The diplomats will convene in a Baroque palace located in the Rogalin landscape park near Poznań.

25.06.2021On 25 June, in Warsaw, at Dobra 53, a mural commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Visegrad Group and the end of Poland’s one-year presidency of the V4 was revealed. The event brought together the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, the Minister for Culture, National Heritage and Sport, Prof. Piotr Gliński, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, Director of the National Centre for Culture, Prof. Rafał Wiśniewski, as well as representatives of the Visegrad Group diplomatic posts accredited to Poland: the ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Andrej Droba, the ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, Orsolya Zsuzsanna Kovács and chargé d’affaires of the Chech Republic, Jiří Kyrian.

23.06.2021Democratic countries have to cope with an increasingly serious problem of hostile cyber activities sponsored from the territories of other countries. Poland, like other EU member states before it, has recently fallen victim to massive cyber attacks and disinformation campaigns.

21.06.2021The Monday meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg focused on the EU’s engagement in Belarus and in Iraq as well as on relations with Latin America and the Caribbean countries. EU foreign ministers met with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Iraq’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Mohammed Hussein. Important aspects of discussions on the current agenda and any other business included the situation in Russia and Turkey, as well as the campaign of cyber-attacks against Poland.
