On the first day of his visit to New York for the opening of the 80th UN General Assembly Session, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski took the floor at the emergency meeting of the UN Security Council called at Estonia's request.

The informal meeting of EU foreign ministers (FAC) was held on the margins of the 80th UNGA General Debate in New York on 22 September. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.

On 19 September 2025, we mark 70 years of diplomatic relations between Poland and Indonesia. This exceptional jubilee is the opportunity to emphasise the traditionally friendly relations between Poland and Indonesia based on mutual respect, common values, and a dynamic partnership.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met today in Helenów with Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi. Talks were held as part of the Poland-China Intergovernmental Committee. It is one of the mechanisms within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Poland and China.

For the first time in 80 years of the UN's history, a Security Council session was convened at Poland's request to discuss the recent incursion into the Polish airspace by Russian aircraft. Poland was represented by Secretary of State at the Foreign Ministry Marcin Bosacki who spoke at the session.
