    “The current situation surrounding the nuclear deal with Iran is alarming,” said Minister Jacek Czaputowicz during yesterday’s Foreign Affairs Council (FAC). The Polish chief of diplomacy stressed that the international community must be ready to engage in a possible discussion on the deal which would include all stakeholders, among them Iran, the United States, and the European Union.

    An intense Polish language course, a tour of the largest Polish cities, learning about places important for Polish history and culture, attending different workshops and training sessions, screenings of films about Poland’s history, meetings with Warsaw Insurrectionists and Polish authorities – all this awaits around 250 participants of a pilot project “Polska jest w Tobie”(Poland is in You). The project was created with the support of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Education.

    Undersecretary of State at the MFA Marcin Przydacz concluded his three day’s visit to Belarus where he met with the deputy foreign minister of Belarus and held several consultations with representatives of local governments of the Lida, Grodno and Pinsk regions. He also met with members of partner organisations implementing development projects financed by Polish Foreign Ministry, as well as the Polish community in Belarus and representatives of the Catholic Church.

    “European Union Member States have a moral obligation to support the Eastern Partnership countries,” said Minister Czaputowicz in Batumi during the 16th conference, “Georgia’s European Ways.” The minister also stressed that Poland as a non-permanent UN Security Council member, repeatedly draws attention to the need to preserve Georgia’s and Ukraine’s territorial integrity. This year’s conference edition was dedicated entirely to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership (EaP).
