Deputy Minister Maciej Lang discussed key issues on Polish-U.S. agenda during his visit to Washington D.C.

“The new Polish Television channel will help the Poles living in Lithuania to keep their national identity and support their activities,” said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk at the official signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Polish Television on cooperation in creating and promoting the TVP Wilno television channel.

Today, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz has presented Marcin Przydacz with his nomination as undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The new MFA deputy chief will be responsible for eastern policy, development cooperation, and economic diplomacy.

“We reiterated our will to intensify bilateral political, economic, cultural and scientific cooperation and people-to-people contacts,” emphasized Jacek Czaputowicz at a meeting with Spain’s top diplomat Josep Borrell Fontelles.

Our countries should continue to work closely together during negotiations, including as part of the Friends of Cohesion Group,” Deputy Minister Konrad Szymański said during his today’s meeting with First Deputy Chancellor of the Lithuanian Government Deividas Matulionis.

On Monday, 18 March, in Brussels, the Polish foreign minister will attend a Foreign Affairs Council meeting (FAC).

On 16 March 2019, Poland takes over the six-month presidency of the Community of Democracies.
