“For nearly two decades, Poland has been supporting Kabul by means of development assistance programmes. Over that period, Poland has helped the Afghan community directly as well as through payments made to international organisations to support the reforms and institutions of the country,” underlined Deputy Minister Marcin Przydacz during the international Afghanistan conference.

On 12 May, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a meeting on the role of the international humanitarian law in contemporary military conflicts. The talks took place between representatives of the Prime Minister, ministries, and central agencies, the Polish Red Cross, the Polish Institute of International Affairs, and the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission.
