On 24 April, Minister Zbigniew Rau took part in an EU Foreign Affairs Council session in Luxembourg.

On 21 April this year, Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau visited the Republic of Malta. During the visit, Minister Zbigniew Rau held political consultations with Ian Borg, Malta’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade. Both ministers took part in the opening ceremony of the new Polish Embassy’s headquarters on Malta, along with many representatives of the diplomatic corps.

Minister Rau visited Croatia on 19-20 April this year. Key topics of discussion during his meeting with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman included Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, energy security, the Three Seas Initiative, and the EU expansion process.

On 18 April, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland passed a resolution on the need to regulate – in Polish-German relations – the issue of reparations, compensation and reparations for the losses that Poland and Poles suffered due to the unlawful German attack on Poland in 1939 and the subsequent German occupation.

On April 18, 2023 the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Gerwel and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Deng Li held the 7th round of the Polish-Chinese Strategic Dialogue in Beijing.

Following the invitation of Minister Zbigniew Rau, Foreign Minister of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis will pay a working visit to Poland on Monday, April 17th.

On April 13th Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau outlined in Sejm information on the principles and objectives of Poland's foreign policy in 2023.
