18.10.2024 BrusselsAt the European Council summit, which took place in Brussels on 18 October, Prime Minister Donald Tusk presented the Polish point of view on migration. Faced with growing challenges on the Union's eastern border, the leaders expressed solidarity with Poland. The European Council unanimously adopted conclusions on migration, which read that no country, including Russia and Belarus, can abuse values such as the right to asylum. Poland is to make “autonomous decisions.”
