01.09.2021The latest data published by Eurostat bring good news. In July, the unemployment rate in Poland amounted to 3.4%. A month before, it was 3.6%. Meanwhile, across the European Union, unemployment in July amounted to 6.9%. – The situation is clearly improving, we are also well above the EU average – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

31.08.2021Just like in the case of the “Good Start” programme, soon the submission of an application for the child-support benefit under the “Family 500+” programme will be possible online only. Also, the Social Insurance Institution will be involved in the service of the programme. The Council of Ministers adopted a draft amendment to the Act on this matter. Families can rest assured – the most important rules of the programme will remain unchanged and no one who has the right to the benefit today will lose it.
