05.08.2020Since the beginning of the “Family 500+” programme, i.e. since April 2016, over PLN 114.4 billion has been allocated to Polish families until the end of June this year. Currently, 6.5 billion children are covered by the support. The care allowance makes it possible for families to meet their needs, such as, for instance, summer holiday trips. – Due to the care allowance, we were able to spend the summer holidays by the sea together with our entire family - says Elżbieta Jarosz, a mother of three.

25.07.2020Starting today, entrepreneurs can register for the Polish Tourist Voucher programme using the Social Insurance Institution’s electronic platform (PUE ZUS). The programme is a form of support for the national tourism industry and for Polish families. Tourist entrepreneurs or organisations of public benefit that provide hotel services or organise tourist events on the territory of Poland may register for the programme. We also have great news for the families as well. The activation of the Polish Tourist Voucher will be launched within a week - after midnight between July 31st until August 1st.

22.07.2020We all know that we should drink plenty of liquids in the summer and that we should not go swimming in unguarded areas, in particular under the influence of alcohol. It is however also worth to pay attention to other issues related to safe holiday, i.e. not staying in the open sun for too long or not going too far away from home when we expect a strong storm. That relates in particular to the elderly, people who are sick or small children. Let’s keep an eye on each other.

20.07.2020The call for applications to obtain the benefit under the “Good Start” programme has been open since June. The programme involves issuing PLN 300 as a one-off support for 4.5 million school students who begin a new school year. Parents and carers have already submitted over a million online applications.
