25.07.2020Starting today, entrepreneurs can register for the Polish Tourist Voucher programme using the Social Insurance Institution’s electronic platform (PUE ZUS). The programme is a form of support for the national tourism industry and for Polish families. Tourist entrepreneurs or organisations of public benefit that provide hotel services or organise tourist events on the territory of Poland may register for the programme. We also have great news for the families as well. The activation of the Polish Tourist Voucher will be launched within a week - after midnight between July 31st until August 1st.

22.07.2020We all know that we should drink plenty of liquids in the summer and that we should not go swimming in unguarded areas, in particular under the influence of alcohol. It is however also worth to pay attention to other issues related to safe holiday, i.e. not staying in the open sun for too long or not going too far away from home when we expect a strong storm. That relates in particular to the elderly, people who are sick or small children. Let’s keep an eye on each other.

20.07.2020The call for applications to obtain the benefit under the “Good Start” programme has been open since June. The programme involves issuing PLN 300 as a one-off support for 4.5 million school students who begin a new school year. Parents and carers have already submitted over a million online applications.

15.07.2020Over 45,000 students with disabilities will benefit from subsidies for the purchase of textbooks, as well as educational and exercise materials in the new school year 2020/2021. This year’s budget of the Programme amounts to PLN 18 million.

14.07.2020By the end of June this year, the supplementary parental benefit granted under the “Mother 4+” programme was granted to a total of 57.5 thousand people - mainly women - who devoted themselves to bringing up at least four children and, as a result, did not manage to earn even a minimum pension.

10.07.2020Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, it has been quite obvious that we must take all means necessary to ensure the safety of persons with disabilities - said the Government Plenipotentiary for the Disabled Paweł Wdówik during the media briefing last Friday. Soon, PLN 17 million will be allocated towards the protective measures of the participants and employees of the Occupational Therapy Workshops.

10.07.2020For nearly five years, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has been carrying out intensive works to ensure safety to families, seniors and persons with disabilities and to ensure their quality of life. This period also involved carrying out measures for improving the situation of employees on the labour market, which are particularly important in the context of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. - In the perspective of the previous five years, we can freely say that due to our programmes and the changes in the applicable laws, all families can enjoy a better standard of living. We have obtained the goal which we cared for the most - says the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Marlena Maląg.

06.07.2020PLN 130 million under the project “Support for Children Placed Under Foster Care during the COVID-19 epidemic” will soon be allocated to local governments. The funds will be allocated, among others, for purchasing computers and the necessary software.
