On March 13-14, 2018, the conference Social and Technological Innovations - A Full Participation of Persons with Disabilities took place in Budapest.

On March 8th, Minister E. Rafalska met with Mr Sghaier Fatnassi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Poland. 

In Poland, according to the estimates by the Eurostat, unemployment rate was 4.5% in January 2018.

On February 23rd Minister S. Szwed participated in the conference  The future of society: demographic situation and family policies in the Baltic States and Central European countries, organised by Lithuanian parliament in Vilnius.

On February 21st, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska met with the bishop of the Chaldean diocese of Zakho and Amadiya in Iraq (Kurdistan) at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

On February 21st, 2018 Minister E. Rafalska met Mr Francisco Javier Sanabria Valderrama, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Poland.

On Tuesday, mothers recognized for their outstanding contribution in raising children were presented with Orders of Merit of the Republic of Poland by President Andrzej Duda.

Minister Rafalska together with Władysław Dajczak, Lubuskie Province Governor took part in the official opening of the Community Self-Help House in Strzelce Krajeńskie.

The first meeting of the Social Committee led by Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło raised the topic of demographics.

The Housing Council headed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will coordinate efforts aimed at increasing the availability of affordable housing.
