Conference Social and Technological Innovations - A Full Participation of Persons with Disabilities

On March 13-14, 2018, the conference Social and Technological Innovations - A Full Participation of Persons with Disabilities took place in Budapest.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Human Capacities under the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group. The main topics were social and technological innovations for disabled people used in the everyday life as well as cooperation of the governments of the Visegrad Group countries in this regard.

During the opening session, Mr. Krzysztof Michałkiewicz - Secretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People, presented Polish achievements regarding the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Cooperation with other Visegrad Group countries in the field of disability was also discussed during the conference in order to guarantee the rights and participation of disabled people in social life.
