International Day of Persons with Disabilities

03.12.2016

On the occasion of the coming third International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Krzysztof Michałkiewicz, Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People, addressed his wishes to people with disabilities.

Ladies and gentleman,

on 3 December, we are celebrating the International Day of People with Disabilities established by the United Nations. On this day, events and celebrations are held around the world to promote the rights of people with disabilities.

On this occasion, I would like to wish all people with disabilities prosperity, courage and consistency in pursuit of greater independence and improvement in the quality of life.

I would also like to thank families, friends, carers and all those who support disabled people with their everyday actions for their commitment to improve the lives of persons under their care.

I want to assure you of our solid support for the whole community of people with disabilities.

My kindest regards,

Krzysztof Michałkiewicz

Secretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy

Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People
