Meeting in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy

Today, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska met with Marzena Adamczyk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in the Kingdom of Spain and Principality of Andorra, and Nikoloz Nikolozishvili, Ambassador of Georgia to Poland.

 

The meeting with Ambassador Marzena Adamczyk was devoted to the opportunities of development of Polish-Spanish cooperation in employment and social affairs, including in particular the exchange of experience in the field of the labour market and family policy, and presentation of the 500+ programme. The Ambassador also pointed to maintaining contacts with Poles living in Spain, enabling Polish children to learn Polish so that in the future, if they want to, their return to Poland will be easier. The talks also concerned the “Fighting for Family” award granted to Minister E. Rafalska by the Catalan association – Catalan-ONU Platform for Families.

The meeting with Ambassador of Georgia, Nikoloz Nikolozishvili, was devoted to development of Polish-Georgian cooperation, opportunities for exchange of experiences and best practices, including measures in the labour market and in the field of family policy. The talks also concerned the current socio-economic situation in Georgia and cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.
