Housing Council

The Housing Council headed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will coordinate efforts aimed at increasing the availability of affordable housing.

On January 30th Minister Rafalska, who is a member of the Council, took part in its first meeting.

The task of the Council is to develop legislative changes to increase the number of apartments available on the housing market. Members of the Council are: Elżbieta Rafalska, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy; Teresa Czerwińska, Minister of Finance; Piotr Gliński, Minister of Culture and National Heritage; Krzysztof Jurgiel, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Henryk Kowalczyk, Minister of the Environment; Jerzy Kwieciński, Minister of Investment and Development, Jolanta Rusiniak, President of the Government Legislation Center and Mirosław Barszcz, CEO of BGK Bank Nieruchomości S.A., who also coordinates the activities of the Council.
