Minister Rafalska visits Spain

Meeting with Polish families, debate with the members of Spanish government on the fight against poverty and family support as well as a lecture on family policy – there are some points of the visit of Minister Elżbieta Rafalska in Madrit.


On October 19-22, minister Elżbieta Rafalska is visiting Spain. The exchange of experiences concerning social and family policies and  meeting with Polish families are the main goals of the visit.

On the first day minister Rafalska visited the Polish stand at the International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry. Poland has been participating in this event for the fifth time.

Visit in Spain is an opportunity to meet the ministers of the Spanish government and to exchange experiences on the social and family policies of both countries. Minister Rafalska talked with Spanish minister of health, social services and equality Dolors Montserrat Montserrat on that. Employment policy and improving the situation on the labour market were the subjects of the meeting with employment minister Fátima Báńez.

On Saturday Minister Rafalska will meet Polish families to talk about programmes supporting emigrants and programmes for families, including “Family 500+”.
