Wider support from the Food Assistance

From the new year, more people will be able to benefit from food assistance under the 2014-2020 Food Assistance Operational Programme. The changes were introduced after consultation with the Programme Implementation Advisory Team.
Increased amounts under the 2016 Sub-programme will be PLN 1268 for a single person (so far, this was PLN 951) and PLN 1028 for a person in a family (so far, PLN 771). Thresholds increased to 200 per cent of the criteria which entitle to use social assistance. Previous criterion of 150 per cent was applicable since the beginning of implementation of the
2014-2020 FA OP, i.e. December 2014.
