Elżbieta Rafalska – the new Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy

On 16 November 2015, the new government under the leadership of Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Beata Szydło, was sworn in at the Presidential Palace.

Elżbieta Rafalska was appointed the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy. She sworn in her solemn oath: “Accepting the office of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully follow the articles of the Constitution and other laws of the Republic of Poland, as well as the good of the Fatherland, and for me the well-being of its citizens will always be the supreme directive. So help me God.”

 

Prime Minister Beata Szydło emphasised: “On behalf of the Polish government, I want to extend my thanks and assure you that we will do our very best to keep the words of the oaths spoken here. And for our compatriots to know that the Polish government will look into the issue of every citizen, and every case, even the smallest one, will be important to us.”
