Community Self-Help Houses needed in every district

Minister Rafalska together with Władysław Dajczak, Lubuskie Province Governor took part in the official opening of the Community Self-Help House in Strzelce Krajeńskie.

Currently, 32 such houses operate in the Lubuskie Voivodeship.

During the opening Minister Rafalska said that investing in Community Self-Help Houses is one of the best ways of spending public money. This building is meant to enable people with disabilities to find a second home, where they will feel safe and will be able to pursue their interests. A place where they could learn how to cope with difficulties and acquire different life skills, added Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

Minister Rafalska has congratulated the local governments on opening these types of support facilities.

Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy also visited Occupational Therapy Workshop and ZUS field office.
