Meeting with the British Home Secretary

On September 27th, a meeting was held between Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Minister Mariusz Błaszczak with British Home Secretary Amber Rudd.

Issues related to the negotiations on the UK’s exit from the European Union, including the rights of EU citizens were the subject of the meeting.  Home Secretary A. Rudd stressed that Polish citizens in the UK make a significant  contribution to the British economy. It was agreed that such so lutions should be found in that respect so they minimize the effects of Brexit.  - “This meeting is important not only for the government, but also for Polish citizens living and working  in the UK. We want them to feel they are not left out”- emphasized Minister Rafalska.
