Support for disabled persons

22.05.2019

One of key areas of activity of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy is integration in its broad sense. In particular, it refers to disabled persons. Our goal is to ensure that the very diversified environment of disabled persons receives very different kinds of support: social, health or professional support.

In this area, the Solidarity Fund for the Support of Disabled Persons has been designed. We stress our intention already in the first article of the act establishing the Fund. This article indicates that the aim of new legal provisions is social, professional or health support.

We want disabled persons to feel support from the state in every respect. We believe that only when diverse programs and actions are addressed to disabled persons, can the entire system be regarded as effective.

The Solidarity Fund is the pillar of this system, but there are more programs dedicated to disabled persons. We continue to design new solutions so that integration could cover the largest possible group of persons and different areas of life. So that support would have a real dimension.

Programs being launched involve also an increase of expenses for disabled persons in order to ensure the solid financial foundations of integration.

More information about programs and actions of the Ministry of Family addressed to disabled persons can be found in the following brochure:
