The meeting inaugurating the creation of the Just Transformation Fund is the most important point of the conference “Towards a Green Economy” which began today in Katowice. The event was attended by Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, and Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy, Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak.

59 135 investments for the total amount of 449.2 billion PLN are being carried out with the support of the EU co-financing.

- A total of EUR 76 billion will be invested in the new EU financial perspective. The funds will be used, among others, for projects in innovation, entrepreneurship, digitisation, municipal infrastructure, environmental protection, energy, education, accessibility and social affairs, said the Deputy Minister, Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak at the meeting with local government officials and entrepreneurs from the Łańcut district.
