25.03.2025The government has decided to re-allocate funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to the Security and Defence FundThe Council of Ministers adopted a resolution submitted by the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy to re-allocate funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP) to the Security and Defence Fund (SDF). The fund will operate under the NRP and provide financing for, among others, defence-related dual-use investments, the modernisation of the defence industry and the development of innovative defence technologies. Up to PLN 30 billion will be allocated for this purpose.

28.02.2025Winning Family competition – around PLN 67 million for municipalities to support poverty-stricken familiesThe Minister for Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, signed agreements with municipalities in Toruń today to co-finance projects in the Winning Family competition. It supports children and families affected by social poverty and negative social phenomena with funds from the European Funds for Social Development (FERS). With such help, children will gain better social living skills and their carers will improve their parenting competences.

25.02.2025Railway investments under the NRP: at least 800 km of modern lines"We are ready to make more investments on the railways with the NRP. Instead of the 500 km of railway lines we were supposed to modernise, revitalise or build from scratch, we will build at least 800 km for the same money, i.e. for the PLN 10.7 billion we have in the NIP for this purpose," said Deputy Minister Jan Szyszko during a press briefing.
