Small-Scale Biomethane System with a Capacity Above 50 kW up to 1 MW (Agricultural Biogas Plant Expanded with a Biogas Upgrading Unit)

  • System with a capacity of up to 500 kW

    • Biomethane systems of this type, with a total installed capacity of up to 500 kW, have a shorter path of required administrative procedures. Such systems are exempt from the obligation to obtain a Decision on Environmental Conditions.

     

  • System with a capacity above 500 kW

    • For a small biomethane system of this type, with a total installed capacity above 500 kW, it is necessary, among other things, to obtain a Decision on Environmental Conditions. For every small biomethane system, it will also be necessary to obtain the relevant environmental permits, and the investment process concludes with an Entry in the Register of Agricultural Biogas Producers.
