- The SAFE programme is a Polish idea. Assuming EU presidency, Poland has clearly put defence and security first. This money is also for other European countries, who will make purchases in Poland - said the deputy prime minister, minister of national defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the opening of the conference on the implementation of the SAFE programme.

The Unmanned Systems Forces Inspectorate announces the procedure for the acceptance of applications from manufacturers of unmanned solutions regarding the organization and testing modes in the Polish Armed Forces.

- I have had the honour to deliver a keynote speech during the meeting of the ministers of defence and the most senior commanders of the United States Armed Forces and allied armies in Europe, on the invitation from general Grynkewich. I have presented the Polish perspective on building the strength of transatlantic relations, bolstering NATO and the need to increase European defence spending, so that Europe is an equal partner to the United States in terms of military capabilities. I have also talked about the threats the Alliance faces, especially on the eastern flank of NATO, but also the ones for the entire Alliance - Russia and terrorism being the latter. I have touched on the issue of combating these threats, building the Alliance's strength and resilience and maintaining its unity. I have spoken about our experiences, our shared history, but also that NATO is not just an organization, a treaty or ministerial meetings. NATO is primarily its soldiers - their stories, their lives and readiness to shed blood and sacrifice their lives for peace and security - said deputy prime minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz after the conclusion of the talks in Ramstein regarding regional security and support for Ukraine.

- I would like to thank all of you for the service to your countries, working together with Poland. Building a strong, safe Poland in a friendly environment, looking for friends rather than pointing out enemies. Guarding against those who threaten us, those that provoke us, those who have started a hybrid war, who sow unrest not only against us, but especially against our eastern neighbour, Ukraine. I am talking about the Russian Federation, who is, according to our strategy, the largest threat to the security of Europe, to its peace and tranquillity - said the deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

- Poland is present in Latvia. We have our troops there. We want our presence to be even more visible. I would like for Poland and Latvia to keep increasing their capabilities through shared exercises, joint actions and presence on the eastern flank of NATO. We both benefit from the SAFE programme and I am thankful for the declaration of willingness to conduct joint purchases and for choosing Polish equipment, like the Piorun system - deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz noted after meeting the minister of defence of Latvia.

- We are connecting a Polish and a Korean firm, WB Electronics - a showcase of Poland in Europe and the world when it comes to drone production and, starting today, also in rocket manufacturing - with Hanwha Aerospace, known and respected by our allies - said the deputy prime minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz after signing the implementation agreement for the HOMAR-K programme.

An incredible meeting with the Secretary General of NATO. Mark Rutte is in Poland once again. He has visited us many times as the prime minister of the Netherlands. And for over a year, he has been in his new, great role. We are grateful for all the support. We are thankful for the Eastern Sentry and Baltic Sentry operations - strengthening the security of the eastern flank. Protecting the airspace over Poland and other countries of the eastern flank, as well as enhancing the security of the Baltic - said the Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz in Bemowo Piskie.

This is not merely a purchase of submarines. We have also just discussed the exchange of technological thought, the transfer of technology and equipment. This is not just a change in the face of the Navy. This is building new security architecture on the Baltic Sea - said the deputy prime minister Kosiniak-Kamysz after signing the agreement of cooperation regarding the acquisition of submarines for Poland.

The 32nd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), in which the secretary of state in the ministry of defence Paweł Zalewski participated, was held on 16 December. The discussions were chaired by the ministers of defence of Great Britain and Germany

- It was a very good visit. We have signed a memorandum of understanding in defence between Poland and Turkey. It entails tens of points of cooperation, which we will now put into practice. From information exchange, shared military exercises, defence industry development, cooperation of intelligence and counterintelligence services to activities developing the operational capabilities of our militaries. We have agreed to a whole sequence of actions of inter-governmental cooperation between the governments of the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Türkiye, focused especially on national defence and cooperation within the North Atlantic Alliance - noted the deputy prime minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz after the meeting with the minister of defence of the Republic of Türkiye.
