The accredited IT Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF) at the National Institute of Telecommunications successfully evaluated the cybersecurity of the DTMS-2 motion sensor.

The third issue of the Journal of Telecommunications and Information Technology (JTIT), published by the National Institute of Telecommunications, is now available.

On 22 September 2025, the first meeting of the Scientific Council of the National Institute of Telecommunications (NIT) for the new 2025-2029 term took place. Dr. Eng. Radosław Wiśniewski was elected Chair of the Council.

President Karol Nawrocki has signed the Act of 25 July 2025 amending the Act on the Computerization of the Operations of Public Entities and certain other acts. This is a significant step towards improving the digitalization of public administration and enhancing the management of the state's IT resources.

Today, at the headquarters of the National Institute of Telecommunications, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Institute and representatives of the Association of Space Sector Employers (ZPSK).

We are pleased to announce that in July 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between an accredited certification body operating within the structure of the National Security Authority (NSA) in Slovakia and an accredited IT Security Evaluation Laboratory (ITSEF), operating within the structures of the National Institute of Telecommunications - State Research Institute (NIT) in Poland.

On Monday, August 4, 2025, the National Institute of Telecommunications hosted Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski. The meeting with the Institute's leadership provided an opportunity to discuss key activities and projects carried out by the Institute in the field of advanced digital technologies.

On July 7, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski, presented the Badge of Honor for Merits in Electronic Communications to Włodzimierz Lewandowski, DSc and Tomasz Widomski. The awards were granted at the request of the Director of the National Institute of Telecommunications.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, a conference dedicated to the issue of disruptions to Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and the development of alternative and resilient solutions for the country's critical infrastructure was held at the headquarters of the National Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw.

On 27th June 2025 at the National Institute of Telecommunications, a Hybrid Seminar with Professor Krzysztof (Kris) Gaj was held. Professor Gaj gave a lecture titled: "Post-Quantum Digital Signature Standards and Hardware Implementations".
