A delegation from the National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA), led by Vice President of the PAA, Paweł Pytlarczyk, held a bilateral meeting with representatives of the Slovak nuclear regulatory authority (ÚJD SR). The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the current activities of both agencies and to exchange experience in the areas of nuclear safety and radiation protection.

Andrzej Głowacki, President of the National Atomic Energy Agency, participated in the "DEPLOY SMR Workshop,” which took place in Istanbul. The event focused, among other things, on the development of industrial applications for small modular reactors (SMRs) and the conditions for their implementation.

On the sidelines of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, an administrative arrangement was signed between the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC). It concerns cooperation in the oversight of the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

Three years after the conclusion of the Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS) mission in Poland, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency, members of the mission met again with representatives of the institutions responsible for nuclear safety and radiation protection in Poland. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the National Atomic Energy Agency, and its main purpose was to discuss preparations for the IRRS follow-up mission, which will be held next spring.

Andrzej Głowacki, President of the National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA), led the Polish delegation during the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held in Vienna. During his national address, he presented Poland's most important initiatives in the areas of nuclear safety and radiation protection, as well as progress in the development of Poland's nuclear power program.

The development of the nuclear energy sector, the safety of new technologies, workforce training, and the exchange of experiences related to the oversight of nuclear facilities -these were the main topics of the bilateral meeting between experts from the National Atomic Energy Agency and representatives of the Swedish Nuclear Safety Authority (SSM).

The President of the National Atomic Energy Agency, Andrzej Głowacki, and Radosław Król, the Voivode of Warmia-Masuria, signed a letter of intent regarding the development of radiation monitoring in the voivodeship. The letter outlines the principles of cooperation between the PAA and the voivodeship authorities in the installation of new measurement stations.

Over 70 students from across Poland are participating in week-long classes organized as part of the Summer School of Nuclear Energy. The main theme of this year's edition is the fuel cycle. The Vice President of the National Atomic Energy Agency attended the school's opening, and one of the lecturers is the Director of the Nuclear Safety and Security Department at the National Atomic Energy Agency.

A delegation of experts from the National Atomic Energy Agency was in Germany on a bilateral visit. Discussions with representatives of the German nuclear regulatory authority focused, among other things, on cooperation and the exchange of experiences regarding the development of radiation monitoring.

A delegation from the National Atomic Energy Agency, headed by President Andrzej Głowacki, is participating in a meeting of the Regulatory Cooperation Forum (RCF), held in Vienna.
