07.03.2024Prime Minister Donald Tusk is in constant contact with Brussels on the EU Green Deal and the needs of Polish farmers. The head of the government also continues his meetings with the leaders of European countries – this time he went to Romania. And on Saturday, at 10.00 a.m., the Prime Minister will meet again with representatives of farmers. During the press conference, the Prime Minister also referred to issues related to the termination of pregnancy.

05.03.2024Poles who have a mortgage loan in PLN will be able to take advantage of credit holidays in 2024. Beneficial solutions are also to be introduced for farmers, who will have easier access to cheaper loans. Prime Minister Donald Tusk also announced that he would submit a draft resolution to the Sejm that would call on the European Commission to impose sanctions on imports of food and agricultural products from Russia and Belarus.

04.03.2024 KPRMThe Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister presented an analysis of the expenses of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and its subsidiaries during the reign of Mateusz Morawiecki. As a result, Prime Minister Donald Tusk decided to liquidate the Institute of Generations and the Institute De Republica. Expenditure on promotion is also being analysed – in 2023 alone, it is PLN 30 million. In the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the number of departments was significantly reduced.

04.03.2024 Lithuania, VilniusPrime Minister Donald Tusk visited Vilnius, where he met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė. The talks focused on broadly understood security. The Prime Minister announced that he would address the Marshal of the Sejm with a proposal for a resolution of the Polish Sejm calling on the European Commission to impose an embargo on agricultural and food products from Russia and Belarus. The head of the Lithuanian government expressed her readiness for further cooperation to support Ukraine and security in the region.

Despite its location, the resort will not limit itself to operating only in the region. It will deal not only with mining and metallurgy, but also m.in with oil, gas and nuclear policy.

29.02.2024Prime Minister Donald Tusk attended the Summit for Agriculture in Warsaw. During a meeting with farmers, the Prime Minister declared that the Polish government would do everything in its power to protect the Polish agriculture sector, vowing that he would request the suspension or cancellation of the provisions of the European Green Deal concerning agriculture in Brussels. He also assured that the government would move to extend the existing embargoes to cover Russian and Belarusian agricultural products and announced another future meeting concerning this matter.

29.02.2024Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with Prime Minister of Latvia Evika Siliņa, who made her first official visit to Poland. Their talks were focused on the issue of security in the region. Both Prime Ministers also discussed Ukraine’s accession to the European Union, as well as the expansion of NATO, which was joined by Sweden and Finland. They announced that Poland and Latvia would continue working together on resolving the issues concerning the agricultural sector. The Latvian Prime Minister also highlighted the fruitful cooperation between both countries to date.

28.02.2024 KPRMPrime Minister Donald Tusk met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stør, another political leader to visit Warsaw in recent weeks. The main topics of the talks between the Prime Ministers concerned the war in Ukraine, security in the region, as well as cooperation in the energy sector. The Polish Prime Minister highlighted the particularly good relations between Poland and Norway, which is seen as a key partner.

27.02.2024During his visit to Prague, Prime Minister Donald Tusk took part in a meeting of Prime Ministers of the Visegrad Group countries. The main topic discussed by the heads of government of Polish, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia was the Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as the EU Green Deal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk referred to the provisions of the Visegrad Group declaration, pointing out that they should be applied today in the common policy of the V4 countries towards fighting Ukraine.
