During today's protests, the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Minister Jan Grabiec, invited farmers to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The strikers have been assured that the government is working on solutions that will safeguard the interests of our farmers. To this end, Prime Minister Donald Tusk is holding a series of talks on the international arena.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk continues talks with the heads of government and institutions. This time, the head of the Polish government met with the Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala in Prague. The main topic of the Prime Ministers' talks was the war in Ukraine. Poland will join the Czech initiative, which assumes the supply of ammunition to our eastern neighbour. The heads of government also discussed issues related to the EU's Green Deal policy and the interests of Polish farmers.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Warsaw. The heads of government discussed issues related to, m.in, Russian aggression, Ukrainian grain, as well as cooperation in the nuclear energy sector. Poland and Canada present convergent positions on the most important issues, including support for fighting Ukraine.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo in Warsaw. The head of the European Commission gave very good news for Polish. Soon, up to 137 billion euros will go to our country. In addition to EU funds, the leaders discussed issues related to the interests of Polish farmers, the war in Ukraine, as well as the upcoming Polish presidency of the EU Council.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk took the floor in the Sejm during the debate on the opposition's motion of no confidence in the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, Adam Bodnar. In his speech, the Prime Minister referred to the activities of the prosecutor's office and the courts during the previous government, as well as to abuses m.in in the Justice Fund. The Prime Minister listed a number of actions taken by the Ministry to remedy the situation and unblock funds from the NRP. The head of the Polish government expressed his full support for the actions of Minister Adam Bodnar.

For nearly two years, Poland has been invariably supporting Ukrainians in their fight against the Russian aggressor. In this particular situation, however, we do not forget about the needs of our farmers. Prime Minister Donald Tusk assured that he would not cease in his efforts to secure the interests of the Polish countryside. The head of the government is conducting intensive activities in the international arena. At the same time, the government is working on national solutions that will respond to the needs of farmers.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with the head of the Swedish government Ulf Kristersson at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The talks focused on security and defence cooperation both in Europe and bilaterally between Poland and Poland and Sweden. The heads of government also discussed issues related to the war in Ukraine and the upcoming Polish presidency of the Council of the EU. Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed Polish's full support for Sweden's presence in NATO.

On 17 February, we celebrate the first statutory Civil Service Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Donald Tusk sent a letter to all members of the civil service corps.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk held talks with the head of the Finnish government, Petteri Orpo, at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The meeting was devoted to security issues in Europe. The Prime Ministers discussed, m.in, the protection of common borders, as well as cooperation to increase the production capacity of our countries' defence industries.

At the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament. The discussion revolved around preparations for the EU parliamentary elections and the future of the EU. Additionally, the head of the Polish government and the President of the European Parliament deliberated on the situation of Polish agriculture within the framework of European Union food security.
