Over PLN 4 billion for the former State Agricultural Enterprises - the Prime Minister announced the results of the 3rd edition of the Government's Strategic Investment Programme
14.07.2022
The 3rd edition of the Government's Strategic Investment Programme targeted communes and districts where so-called State Agricultural Enterprises (PGRs) were in operation. The exclusion of these areas was plain to see. We are rectifying this sin of neglect by providing additional funds for their development. The local authorities will be able to realise investments close to the people - such as the modernisation of the Voluntary Fire Brigade units, village community rooms or roads.
“Through investments such as the construction of kindergartens, the construction of water supply, sewerage, infrastructure, we will attract further investments and investors, which will increase the number of jobs”, the Prime Minister emphasised.
Development of the former State Agricultural Enterprises
More than half of all communes in Poland, i.e. more than 1,300 communes, will benefit from this edition of the Government's Strategic Investment Programme. These are new opportunities that counteract the desolation of these areas.
“Step by step, we will pursue our social and solidarity policy. It does not only serve big cities, it serves smaller towns and rural areas - this is where we are allocating huge funds from the recovery of public finances," the Prime Minister underlined.
During the announcement of the results, the Head of the Polish Government handed out promises for the implementation of the investments. The Niemcza commune will receive almost PLN 600 thousand for the expansion and modernisation of its Voluntary Fire Brigade, and the Łagiewniki commune almost PLN 3 million for the construction of a multi-purpose facility in Oleszno.
