Our eastern neighbor is continuously fighting for its sovereignty.

Helping our neighbor

We have supported Ukraine from the very beginning of Russian aggression against our neighbor. Poland has become a kind of hub for humanitarian aid. We provide food and medical supplies and send military equipment. Ukraine today is fighting not only for its own freedom, but also for the freedom of all of Europe.

- Arms supplies, as well as financial support, are critically important elements - a condition for Ukraine's survival, for its victory. With victory, there is an opportunity to create a better world,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

At the conference, the head of the Polish government stressed the importance of helping Ukraine. Support our neighbor can stop the Russian war machine.

- If your neighbor's house is on fire, yours is not safe either - this should not only be the wisdom shared by Central and Eastern Europe, but also by the rest of Europe, the prime minister stressed.

Financial support for Ukraine

The entire European Union has decided to support Ukraine financially. Russia wants to see collapse of the Ukrainian economy, so it is important to provide funding for the uninterrupted functioning of the Ukraininan state. Only with financial liquidity can our eastern neighbor continue to function normally.

- Ukrainian soldiers fighting on the battlefield are lionhearted, they are great. It will not be so easy for the Kremlin to defeat them, to win on the battlefield. So, they may want to destabilise Ukraine by disrupting any financial aid,” said the head of the Polish government.
