Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Sufczyn Investments in Local Poland Are a Fundamental Priority

18.09.2022

The head of the Polish government visited the newly opened pre-kindergarten and kindergarten in Sufczyn. The investment has been made possible thanks to funds from the state budget, including the Maluch+ programme. This type of solution supports parents - allowing them to integrate their professional roles with taking care of their children. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of investments that meet the needs of local communities.

- For us, investments in local Poland, in Poland around the corner, this Poland that each of you views every day, are a fundamental priority – emphasised the head of the Polish government.

Major and Important Investments

The Prime Minister declared that he believes there will be implemented major investments - such as the waterway across the Vistula Spit - which prove the pursuit of full economic sovereignty for our country. At the same time, minor investments are important, that from the perspective of specific communes are grand and important projects.

The commune of Dębno is one of those communes where today more people move in than move out. The commune authorities emphasise that this is possible specifically due to investments. It is such projects as recently constructed new roads, water and sewage investments, a gymnasium or a new pre-kindergarten and kindergarten that encourage people to settle down.

Support for Parents

Formerly, many parents had been faced with a choice: either work or family. Investments that make it possible to take advantage of childcare in the pre-kindergarten or kindergarten are particularly relevant. They assist parents, in particular mothers, who as a matter of fact work two full-time jobs: at work and at home.

- All our activities are aimed at making it possible to reconcile professional aspirations with parenthood, but also to ensure that parenthood does not foreclose the pursuit of one's dreams, very often exactly career-related ones, stressed the Prime Minister.
