Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met Hungarian President Katalin Novák in Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw. The head of the Polish government and the head of state of Hungary discussed bilateral and regional cooperation and the challenges posed by Russian aggression against Ukraine. The Prime Minister stressed that European solidarity with the fighting Ukraine today, is necessary to end the conflict. The victory of Ukraine over the Russian invader means security for Poland and Europe.

Polish-Hungarian talks

The meeting between the President of Hungary and the head of the Polish government is primarly a space for dialogue between our countries. We look forward to continuing the cooperation with Hungary on the matters that unite us - both bilaterally and regionally.

We also want to present the Polish point of view on security in Europe.  

- The war in Ukraine is the most important topic that must be discussed. It is great that we can discuss that particular issue with you, with our friends from Hungary – stressed Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Diplomatic campaign for security

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki continues his intensive diplomatic efforts to build international security for Poland and Europe. The head of the Polish government has recently talked with, among others, the President of the United States Joseph R. Biden, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
