New Korean investment in Poland

- We owe the fact that today’s Poland looks completely different in terms of its economy to the hard work of Polish people combined with our search for the best investors in the world – he said – Polish people can create new jobs here, and they want to stay and work in Poland.

Our country will become home to yet another factory manufacturing copper foil that will yield an additional 50,000 tonnes per year. The new investment will not only provide new jobs and help the surrounding area develop, but it will also benefit the environment. Copper foil is a component necessary for the production of lithium and ion batteries used in electric cars.

The investment will certainly contribute to technology transfer and development of human resources. We must remember that mobility is currently a global trend, and Poland is an extremely important link in this supply chain – stated the President of the Polish Agency of Investment and Trade, Krzysztof Drynda.

Poland as European leader in electromobility

The largest plant manufacturing the very core of the cars of the future – their batteries – will operate here, in Poland. Further investment projects in this field have made Poland Europe’s leading exporter of lithium and ion batteries.

Lithium and ion batteries will power up the economy. Electromobility is associated not only with technological advancement, but also an automotive industry that is more environmentally friendly. It is also a new chapter for the automotive industry, the Polish economy and civilisational advancement.

This kind of investments are in line with the strategy of sustainable development – we focus on modern development of mobility, electromobility, the use of hydrogen and all latest technologies that will supply the Polish industry with clean energy – emphasised the Prime Minister during the meeting.

New investments mean development of Poland

Such investments as the one in Stalowa Wola are in line with the assumptions of the Polish order, strenghtening our country’s market thanks to foreign partners. The Polish Order is a strategic programme that focuses on the development of our economy for the benefit of the Polish citizens – employers and employees. The work of the government as well as fast development in such areas as road or energy infrastructure make our country a great environment for investors. As the Prime Minister emphasised, it results in a historically low unemployment rate.
