Prime Minister takes part in the 17th Congress of Clubs of "Gazeta Polska"
17.06.2022
The head of the Polish government once again participated in the meeting of clubs of "Gazeta Polska". He emphasised the exceptional circumstances, as the congress took place at a time when the world was holding its breath. We are at a turning point in history, which results from the actions of the criminal regime of Russia. As the Prime Minister pointed out: "Putin has opened Pandora's box".
The Kremlin’s actions are leading to serious consequences, which can be felt all around the world. We are talking about Putinflation, but also about the Russian propaganda, the threat of a hunger crisis in North Africa and the lack of energy security in our region.
Strength of Polish-Ukrainian relations
"Ukraine is currently fighting an unequal battle, an unequal fight for free and sovereign Ukraine, and therefore also a battle for a free and sovereign Republic," stressed the Prime Minister.
At the same time, he emphasised that Russia fears the strength of Polish-Ukrainian relations. Polish hospitality, support for its eastern neighbour and political actions, such as the Polish Government's trip to Kyiv, solidify the Polish-Ukrainian friendship. This allows Poland and Ukraine to build the future of Europe based on their own needs and ideas. There is only one condition – Ukraine must not lose this war.
Actions of Poles
In the face of these challenges, it is important to do more than simply help beyond our borders. The head of the Polish government spoke about the importance of actions taken by Polish men and women to tackle these problems. "Today, I need the courage of all of you, the activity of every one of you," urged the Prime Minister. "For this good scenario to come true, we need to show great will, determination and perseverance."
