Polish support of Montenegro’s EU membership

Poland supports Western Balkans countries on their way to EU membership. Our country shares its pre-accession experience to assist Montenegro in its preparations for joining the Community. We help with economic development and the implementation of reforms in the Western Balkans region.

Joint actions of Montenegro and European Union

Montenegro has had the European Union candidate status since 2010 and remains committed to the process of integration with the Community. The country joins the EU's common foreign and security policy and imposes sanctions on Russia in connection with an illegal attack on Ukraine.

At the meeting, the leaders agreed on the necessity to combat Russian disinformation.
