22.06.2022

Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę as a partner of the project "We protect children, including unaccompanied children seeking asylum, against violence" runs support groups for foreign parents. The initiative is aimed at people using the social assistance provided by the office in the form of a cash benefit to cover their own costs of stay in the territory of Poland.

pomoc

The aim of the meetings is to support parents in the process of bringing up children, with particular emphasis on developing the skills of bringing up children without violence. Sharing your problems and successes in raising children in a safe and understanding atmosphere, and talking about how to support yourself and your children.

Support groups are a series of 12 meetings, each of which lasts approx. 3 hours. Meetings are held in Warsaw and are conducted in Russian, English and Polish. Participants can count on reimbursement of travel costs, childcare during meetings and vouchers for the purchase of clothing, footwear, household appliances and school supplies.

The project is co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and under the patronage of the Ombudsman for Children.
