Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Manchester

Michał Mazurek (born 1973) is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the National School of Public Administration. In 2001, he was appointed a civil servant. From the beginning of his professional career, he has been associated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working, among others, in the Office of the General Director, the Office of Human Resources (head), and the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy (deputy director).

He has several years of experience in the consular service, working at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago and twice at the consular office in London, including acting as the head of the consular department in 2016 and 2018.

From September 2020, he is the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Manchester.
