17.12.2024On 12-14 December 2024, the Festival of European Literature took place in Tirana - an initiative undertaken by the EU Delegation in Albania together with the embassies of several EU countries and the Italian Institute of Culture. The event aimed to attract outstanding European book authors to the Albanian capital, who presented their works to Albanian readers. The project, implemented for the first time in Albania, met with great interest. The festival included meetings and interactive activities for Albanian readers, who had the opportunity to meet and exchange opinions with famous foreign writers from Poland, France, Ireland, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands and Croatia.

05.12.2024Meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in TiranaOn 2 December 2024, a Meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe was held in Tirana. The meeting was attended by the Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr Marcin Wiącek, and the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Poland, Mr Adam Bodnar. The closed part of the meeting concerned Poland's fulfilment of its membership obligations in the Council of Europe and the report on the rule of law in Poland.

30.10.2024In the framework of the International Jazz Festival in Albania on October 24, the Polish jazz band Unleashed Cooperation performed in the concert hall of the Academy of Arts in Tirana. The concert in Albania is part of a series of events organized in the framework of the JAZZ PO POLSKU "Around the World" project, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana and the Albanian Jazz Society. The band performed in its original line-up: Krzysztof Kuśmierek - saxophone, Patryk Rynkiewicz - trumpet, Patryk Matwiejczuk - piano, Flavio Gullotta - double bass, Stanisław Aleksandrowicz - drums.

18.10.2024In the framework of the Jazz in Albania festival, the Poznan-based quintet Unleashed Cooperation will perform on Thursday, 24 October at the Academy of Arts, in the "Black Box Hall’ at 20:00 hrs. The concert of Unleashed Cooperation in Albania is part of a series of events organised in the framework of the JAZZ PO POLSKU "Around the World" project, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana and the Albanian Jazz Society.
