Poland in Albania

The potential of Albania's mineral deposits, especially strategic and critical mineral resources, challenges and opportunities in entering the European Union market with support of Polish innovations, were the highlights of roundtable discussions for Polish entrepreneurs in Tirana.

Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Wojciech Unolt, gave an interview to the Albanian Radio and Television RTSH.

On May 16, 2025, the 6th European Political Community (EPC) Summit took place in Tirana. Poland was represented by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

On the occasion of the Third May Constitution Day and Polish Diaspora Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Albania organized a concert and a reception on May 6, 2025.

On April 14-19, the first Polish Cultural Week took place in Albania, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana with the support of the Albanian Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation. This year, the Polish Cultural Week was the first in a series of International Culture Weeks, held annually in the capital of Albania. The program of the Week included various cultural events: a performance by a folk dance group, film screenings with the participation of a Polish director, a meeting with Polish children's literature, art workshops for children, jazz concerts, volleyball matches under the supervision of Polish coaches and workshops for students of the Albanian University of Arts.

The first Polish Cultural Week in Albania, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, begins this Monday (14 April). This year, Polish Week will be the first in a series of International Cultural Weeks, held annually in the capital of Albania. On March 27, the forum "Polish Presidency of the EU Council 2025 – Priorities and Vision" was held in Tirana with the participation of representatives of the Polish Embassy in Tirana and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw. The forum's topic was the current Polish presidency of the EU Council and the prospects for EU enlargement.

At the invitation of the Centre for Openness and Dialogue, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana organised an event promoting Polish literature translated and published in Albania.

On the occasion of the 215th anniversary of the birth of Frédéric Chopin and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Albanian Chopin Association, the First International Youth Piano Competition "J'adore Chopin", organized by the Albanian Chopin Association, took place at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana, from 1 to 6 March 2025.

On the occasion of the 215th anniversary of the birth of the composer and virtuoso pianist Frédéric Chopin and the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Albanian Chopin Association, the First International Youth Piano Competition "J'adore Chopin", organized by the Albanian Chopin Association, will be held at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana from 1 to 6 March.
