Department of Development Cooperation

The Department of Development Cooperation is responsible for shaping and coordinating the Polish Aid development assistance programme, a task on which it collaborates with the Development Cooperation Policy Council.

Moreover, the Department develops plans for the allocation of special-purpose reserves to development aid, and establishes procedures for spending funds in emergencies. It compiles dossiers on development cooperation. It also programmes, coordinates and evaluates how Polish diplomatic missions abroad implement development policy, and cooperates with Polish and foreign research centres, social partners and non-governmental organisations.
