On 28-29 June, Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz held political consultations in Yerevan and attended a ceremony to sign an agreement between the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the Central Bank of Armenia on the acquisition of the majority stake of the Armenia Securities Exchange.

On 28 June, the Advisory Legal Committee of the Minister of Foreign Affairs met for the second time this year. The meeting was attended by Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Piotr Wawrzyk.

On 28-30 June, Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau will attend the NATO Summit in Madrid. The foreign minister will accompany President Andrzej Duda, who will be leading the Polish delegation to the event.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign language publication promoting the history of Poland and the best Polish language publication on the history of Polish diplomacy. The contest welcomes works which were published in 2021. Historians can submit their works until 31 August 2022.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau met the Delegates of Governments Participating in the plenary session of the Nuclear Suppliers Group in Warsaw. The meeting concludes the Polish Chairmanship of the NSG. This engagement proves Poland's continued commitment to non-proliferation, disarmament and export control architecture. NSG plays a particularly important role in this system as its guidelines ensure effective control of transfers of nuclear technology and materials, as well as dual-use materials and technologies.

The main themes of this year’s Conference of Ambassadors of the Republic of Poland were the unprecedented and multi-dimensional challenges resulting from Russia’s attack against Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic, consequences for the international order, and conclusions that Polish diplomacy must draw from these crises.

The talks between the deputy foreign ministers of Poland and Cyprus focused on the consequences of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the latter country’s European perspective, efforts to settle the Cyprus problem, and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The regular meeting between Poland’s foreign minister and the ambassadors of EU member states accredited to Warsaw takes place at the invitation of the country holding the presidency of the Council of the EU at the time. The meeting on 24 June was hosted by the Embassy of the French Republic in Warsaw.

On Thursday, June 23, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Paweł Jabłoński together with the ambassadors of Lithuania and Romania and the minister-counselor at the Ukrainian embassy met with the ambassadors of African and Middle Eastern countries as well as the representatives of the diplomatic corps from these countries. The subject of the meeting was the security of food supplies, including in particular the actions taken in this matter by Poland and other EU countries, as well as countering Russian disinformation.
