This year’s Conference of Ambassadors of the Republic of Poland is held in Warsaw from 20 to 24 June. The participants are Poland’s ambassadors and permanent representatives to international organisations.

On 17 June, Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau concluded his official visit to North Macedonia as the Chairman-in-Office of the OSCE.

Development at a Crossroads was the theme of this year’s Tidewater meeting of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC OECD) held in Switzerland on 14-15 June 2022. The agenda covered the unprecedented humanitarian needs, challenges related to the climate crisis, and funding development assistance.

On 14 June, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau concluded an official visit to Montenegro as part of his tour of the Western Balkans. The OSCE Chairman-in-Office held talks on cooperation and security with President Milo Đukanović, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ranko Krivokapić.

From 13 to 17 June, OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau will travel to three of the Western Balkan states—Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia—for high-level talks.

On 10th of June 2022, Minister Zbigniew Rau spoke, via a video call, with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi. The conversation was held within the framework of the 3rd meeting of Poland-China Intergovernmental Committee. It was an opportunity to discuss not only bilateral issues, but also the most important regional and global affairs.

On 8-9 June 2022, Undersecretary of State Paweł Jabłoński visited Paris. One of the topics discussed during the Ministerial Council Meeting of the OECD, attended remotely by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was the impact of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

In Warsaw on 8 June, Minister Zbigniew Rau, Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, met with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Kairat Abdrakhmanov.
