The security situation in the region in the context of Poland's 2022 OSCE chairmanship as well as bilateral issues – these were the key topics of the talks Deputy Minister Marcin Przydacz had with his Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Tochytskyi. The political consultations between Poland’s and Ukraine’s deputy foreign ministers took place on 2 December, on the 30th anniversary of the recognition of Ukraine’s independence by the Polish authorities.

From 1 to 3 December 2021, Poland’s top diplomat Zbigniew Rau will take part in Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The meeting of NATO foreign ministers will be the main purpose of Poland’s top diplomat Zbigniew Rau’s visit to Riga. He will travel to Latvia from 30 November to 1 December 2021.

Lithuania and Poland defend the European Union’s eastern border together and seek to elicit a joint response of Europe and the world to the threat created by the Belarusian regime,” emphasised the deputy chief of Polish diplomacy during his talks with the Lithuanian partners.

On Friday, 26 November, Poland provided the Philippines with 550,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. In this difficult time of the pandemic, Poland is supporting the countries in need.

On 25 November 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau talked to Sun Linjiang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China. It was the first meeting between the officials after Sun Linjiang took up the position of the PRC’s Ambassador to Poland.
