On 24-25 November 2021, Secretary of State Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk paid a visit to Latvia. The main item on the agenda was political consultations held in Riga with Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and the ongoing migration crisis at the border with Belarus. Additionally, the deputy ministers exchanged views on security policy, regional cooperation in the context of the Three Seas Initiative Summit planned for 2022 in Latvia, and the current European agenda. The deputy chief of Polish diplomacy also met with Dagmāra Beitnere-Le Galla, Deputy Speaker of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia.

On 23 November 2021, Minister Zbigniew Rau will pay a visit to Bucharest, where he will meet with Romania’s Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu.

On 23 November, MFA Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński held a phone call with Ahmed Ali Al-Sayegh, Minister of State at the MFA of the United Arab Emirates.

On 22 November 2021 Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau took part in a high-level conference organised in Vienna by Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg.

- Challenges connected with enhanced contacts with Eurasia, the Organisation’s enlargement to include candidate countries or cooperation with the G20 are among the issues faced by the OECD that are of key importance from the point of view of Polish foreign policy - emphasised Head of the Foreign Service Arkady Rzegocki during a conference held at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in the format of development cooperation ministers was held in Brussels on Friday, 19 November. The ministers talked about the humanitarian situation in Ethiopia, Sudan, and Afghanistan, the importance of water in development cooperation, in particular in Central Asia, as well as the EU’s support for global distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. The officials also held a discussion with Administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power on the most important challenges facing development assistance, as well as the future of EU-US cooperation in this area. Poland was represented by Undersecretary of State Paweł Jabłoński.

Minister Zbigniew Rau had a phone call with his Iranian counterpart who wanted to personally thank the people and government of Poland for 1 million doses of Astra Zeneca vaccines donated by Poland to Iran.

Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Przydacz met in London on 18 November with James Cleverly, UK Secretary of State for the Middle East and North Africa, and Wendy Morton, UK Under Secretary of State for European Neighbourhood and the Americas.
