“The crisis provoked by COVID-19 has shown that Poland and India maintain a close bilateral relationship based on mutual respect and commitment to freedom and democracy. I would like to stress that the recent months have also proved that our countries can count on each other in times of particularly difficult challenges,” Deputy Minister Marcin Przydacz said at a video conference with India’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Secretary (West) Vikas Swarup.

We, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of France, Germany and Poland, observe the ongoing developments in Belarus with great concern. On the eve of the presidential elections, we firmly stand by the right of Belarusian people to exercise their fundamental freedoms, including electoral rights, and support the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus.

On 5 August, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz spoke on the phone with Charbel Wehbe, Lebanon’s newly appointed foreign minister. The Polish MFA head offered his condolences following the explosion in the Beirut port. The phone call was held on the initiative of the Polish side.

“We are sending international aid to Lebanon,” Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński said at a press conference held at the MFA on Wednesday.

On 3 August, 2020, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz met Professor Jacek Purchla to express gratitude and appreciation for his serving as the President of the Polish National Commission for UNESCO (2015-2020).

The Council today decided to impose restrictive measures against six individuals and three entities responsible for or involved in various cyber-attacks. These include the attempted cyber-attack against the OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) and those publicly known as 'WannaCry', 'NotPetya', and 'Operation Cloud Hopper'.

On 28 July, Foreign Ministers of Poland – Jacek Czaputowicz, Lithuania – Linas Linkevičius, and Ukraine – Dmytro Kuleba held in Lublin trilateral talks on cooperation within the EU and NATO as well as challenges posed by Russia’s activity in the region.

“We have met in the year that will see the centenary of landmark events of our joint history - the Pilsudski-Petlura Pact and the common struggle against the Bolshevik assailant. I am satisfied that today Polish-Ukrainian strategic relations are being strengthened as well,” said the top Polish diplomat Jacek Czaputowicz during a meeting with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
