06.03.2020On 4-6 March 2020, Undersecretary of State Paweł Jabłoński visited the United States. The visit focused on economic cooperation between Poland and the United States, as well as public and cultural diplomacy. During a ceremony at the Polish Consulate in New York, Deputy Minister Jabłoński handed Adrian Kubicki his nomination to the position of Polish Consul General.

05.03.2020Poland considers the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) as central to the non-proliferation system and one of the most important pillars of global security. The strength and significance of the Treaty is confirmed by its universal nature, as it has been signed and ratified by 191 countries. NPT also enjoys the unambiguous support of NATO Allies and all European Union Member States.

05.03.2020We, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as well as the Estonian Undersecretary for European Affairs, having paid a joint visit to North Macedonia and Albania on 3-5 March 2020, express our determined and unequivocal support for the European aspirations of the Western Balkan states and the firm, merit-based prospect of their full European Union membership.

05.03.2020Minister Jacek Czaputowicz, together with his Lithuanian and Latvian counterparts, Linas Linkevičius and Edgars Rinkēvičs, as well as Estonia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Märt Volmer, paid a joint visit to Tirana on 4 and 5 March. As was the case with the preceding visit to North Macedonia, its main purpose was to give strong support to Albania’s European aspirations and to an early launch of its accession negotiations with the EU.

At the invitation of Polish chief of diplomacy, Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius and of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs as well as deputy minister of Estonia Märt Volmer will join the visit.
