At the invitation of Brazil’s Foreign Minister, Ambassador, Ernesto Araujo, Poland’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Jacek Czaputowicz, made an official visit to Brasilia on February 4, when both ministers opened the meeting of the Working Group on Humanitarian and Refugee Issues, within the "Warsaw Process", for peace and cooperation in the Middle East and held a political consultation meeting.

On 4 February, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz, together with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Ernesto Araújo and US State Department Deputy Assistant Secretary Richard Albright, opened a meeting of the Humanitarian Issues and Refugees Working Group of the Warsaw Process.

“The Treaty of Tartu was the crowning point of a long path to Estonia’s sovereignty won at the cost of enormous sacrifice by its people,” said Minister Jacek Czaputowicz in Tartu, Estonia, where, together with the foreign ministers of Estonia, Finland, and Latvia, he attended celebrations marking the centenary of the Treaty of Tartu.

Celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Tartu and a visit to a military base in Ämari will be the main points of Minister Czaputowicz’s visit to the Republic of Estonia.

I commend the efforts of President Donald Trumps’s administration aimed at resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I took note of the unveiling of the political part of the peace plan. Together with its economic component it constitutes a valuable basis for an in-depth discussion between two parties of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The meeting, which took place at the MFA headquarters, focused on the reform of the judiciary that is now underway in Poland.

“We care about the future of the EU. Europe will not overcome its problems without the agreement of Warsaw, Paris and Berlin. We need agreement on the budget, climate and geopolitical role of the EU,” said Minister Konrad Szymański during the meeting in Lens, France.

“A new LOT connection to Daxing has not only pragmatic, but also a symbolic meaning – it marks the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and China,” said Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the inauguration of a connection to Beijing’s newest airport.

The Berlin conference on resolving the conflict in Libya, climate diplomacy, cooperation aimed at supporting the Sahel states and developments in the Middle East were major points on the agenda of the Foreign Affairs Council meeting on 20 January 2020 in Brussels.
