The chief of Polish diplomacy was invited to a ceremony in Bratislava marking the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has celebrated the day of diplomacy for the eleventh time. The Foreign Service Day was marked on 15-16 November. On the first day, MFA staff met with the Polish President and on the second, open day, the inhabitants of Warsaw could learn the behind-the-scene of MFA work.

Poland, the United States and Romania convened the Warsaw Process Missile Proliferation working group in Bucharest on November 14-15.

“Poland has consistently supported the efforts of the Global Coalition almost from its inception, working shoulder to shoulder with international partners to defeat ISIS,” Deputy Minister Marcin Przydacz said during his visit to the United States.

Poland, the United States and Brazil are pleased to announce that the Warsaw Process working group on humanitarian issues and refugees will meet in Brasilia February 5-6, 2020.

The second annual conference focused on the EIB – donors cooperation aiming to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the UN in 2015.

The meeting of EU foreign ministers on 11 November covered security in the Persian Gulf and the situation in Afghanistan. The ministers also discussed measures taken by the EU towards Turkey over its military activity in north-eastern Syria and the drilling in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

On Monday, 11 November, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz will take part in a Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.
