“In order to effectively address today’s challenges, NATO has to become stronger, must modernise itself and invest in the development of its defence capabilities,” stressed the chief of Polish diplomacy, Jacek Czputowicz, at today’s GLOBSEC conference in Bratislava.

“Over the past four years the Three Seas Initiative has grown in power and expanded its horizons. Every consecutive summit contributed to its development. I am convinced that the summit in Ljubljana will also follow this path,” said Minister Jacek Czaputowicz during the 4th Three Seas Initiative summit, which this year is hosted by Slovenia.

Deputy Foreign Minister Maciej Lang attended a meeting on the situation in the Middle East as part of consultations held by EU Member States of the UN Security Council.

At the summit of the Three Seas Initiative in Ljubljana on 5-6 June, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will take part in a leaders’ panel as part of the Business Forum and will meet with Slovenian Foreign Minister Miro Cerar.

“The months to come will be critical when it comes to strategic decisions on the EU’s policy and efforts to ensure prosperity and security of its citizens. We view the process of selecting candidates for top EU jobs through this prism,” Deputy Minister Konrad Szymański said during his meeting with Matthijs van der Plas, the Director General for European Cooperation at the Dutch MFA.

“Baltic cooperation should better reflect the new reality,” said Minister Czaputowicz at the annual meeting of foreign ministers of the Council of the Baltic Sea States in Jūrmala.

On Monday, 3 June, the chief of Polish diplomacy will take part in a meeting of foreign ministers of the Council of the Baltic Sea States in Jūrmala

“The main goal of our joint Polish-Swedish visit is to demonstrate our support for Ukraine,” stressed the chief of Polish diplomacy after his meeting with Ukraine’s president.

“For Poland, Sweden is a key partner in the Baltic Sea region and in the European Union. Our relations are strategic in rank,” said Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz at today’s meeting with his Swedish counterpart.

“We can look at the future of Polish-US relations with optimism and with hope that they will be as fruitful as those the centenary of which we are celebrating today,” said chief of Polish diplomacy Jacek Czaputowicz at the conference “The Centennial of Polish - American Diplomatic Relations.”
