26.03.2025Today, the head of Polish diplomacy met with the Republic of Estonia’s former President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and the Republic of Lithuania’s former Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis. The two officials currently serve as high-level rapporteurs of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), also known as “Wise Persons,” appointed to draw up a report on the future of the Council.

18.03.2025On 18 March, General Affairs Council (GAC) adopted a regulation on establishing the Reform and Growth Facility for the Republic of Moldova. This instrument will become the financial pillar of the Moldova Growth Plan—the largest EU financial support package since Moldova’s independence.

15.03.2025As part of the ongoing Polish Presidency of the EU Council, Poland’s top diplomat Radosław Sikorski represented the EU at the Ministerial Partnership Dialogue between the European Union and the Southern African Development Community. The event was held on 15 March in Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare.

14.03.2025On Friday, 14 March, an informal meeting of the Working Party on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA) was held in Warsaw. It was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of Poland’s Presidency of the EU Council. The meeting was inaugurated by MFA’s Undersecretary of State Marek Prawda, who is responsible for the EU’s enlargement and neighbourhood policies.

Today’s consultations covered reinforcement of bilateral ties, prospects for cooperation in Central Europe, security situation in Europe, and transatlantic relations, among other topics.
